lonely

Body had never felt the sensation
sitting in it's core

It tried to imagine it as cold
Proffered
it must be like hunger
But in world where it's skin
was constantly touched
by the air
by the sun
by some silence...

Even if it were completely alone

it argued with core somewhat
denying it your absence

A strange little one for the OSI prompt Lonely

The denied absence. The alone yet never alone because there is some touch from some element in this world that touches each of us....A puzzle. Beautiful poem.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. Poetry itself!
