Thought provoking verse here for me. In between the words can be the silence we listen to.
Their is power and strength in those spaces like air itself.
ohmy julia this poem is simply
gorgeous! a piano playing one
note at a time...adore the form.
Nicely done - and I like the spaces.
Enjoyed this considerably and the form works – thank you for sharing…

Thank you everyone! I wanted the spaces very much but blogger didn't want to let me! Glad I persevered :)
I really loved the way you used spacing in this poem--reminiscent of ee cummings.
Great illustration of concentration.
as a photographer, I learned that when you shoot a subject you shoot the space around it too. and sometimes the space around/between is more evocative than the subject itself.
very much like this verse.
The space between the words are the most important thing...you expressed this beautifully, and I liked the literal spaces between your words, too. It definitely added to the impact.
Quite lovely! :)
In the space between thoughts - this is wonderfully written!
There is breath in the spaces. Well done.
